We have been going through some changes both in RL and in game. For right now, people are more then welcome to remain in the guild as long as they are active.
We also encourage you to step forward and lead guild runs, quest together, etc.
While we are inactive for the moment, there is nothing saying that the guild may not get active again. We wont be disbanding at any rate.

A Word about the Banners on this Page!

I just wanted to emphasize that LoS does not support or advocate the use of hacks or stats changers, cheats, etc., that are often posted in the banner section of this site.
Having the banners is the only way we can get the website for free; otherwise it would cost money that we cannot afford to spend.
For your own good, do not download any type of WoW plugin that is not specifically allowed by Blizzard, or you run the risk of your account being hacked or banned. |

Hello one and all and welcome to the new web site!
Make sure that you register with your in game name so that I can better manage who is on the site. I will be working on forum setup and such as time goes on, I haven't done this in a while so please be patient!
Please do your part in making sure that all guild members are aware of the site! I want a central location that we can all reference to :)

Light Of Stromgarde is a nearly 3 year old guild based in the Arathor realm. The guild was originally founded by the warrior Gwin, and was transferred to the current GM, Kamer, in November of 07. The guild still retains many of it's original members and content, and is a very stable guild.
At LOS, we aren't specifically a raiding guild, or a PvE guild, or an arena guild. We like to welcome all types of players, and offer them a fun, drama free community to game in. We do have future plans for end game content, to Kara and beyond, and we are currently forming a Kara team. However, sometimes you can just find us sitting in Goldshire and clowning around, or doing "Heroic" Hogger raids (IE, no armor fists only) as we like to have a good time.
LOS currently has 70+ listed members, which works out to about 60 members plus their alts. We maintain a policy that guild members must stay active, and play 2-3 times a week. We do not require you to level in a set time, but if you wish to be lvl 10 after 2 months, this guild would probably be a poor fit for you. Of the listed members, we currently have about 20 lvl 70s, with many 50+.
We do have a 3 tab guild bank, which is set to rank. We limit access to the bank under the rank of Senior Guild Advisor, due to several instances of the guild bank getting ninjaed. However, if you really need an item, it will usually be provided for you.
To go up in rank within the guild, you must stay active, level, and help the guild. We watch to see who is assisting lower level players, who is recruiting, and the amount of help you need and bank usage. Those who are serious players, who wish to help the guild grow, will advance quickly in rank.
